Monan was a minor demon briefly seen among the many brought up in visions conjured by the mysterious Demon Mask. He appears in the original 'Devilman' manga.
Appearance
Monan was a small demon with a drooped face, he had small spikes on his shoulders and deeply sunken eyes, a large mouth with a large set of teeth and a pair of antenna on his head.
History
Monan was one of the many demons seen byAkira Fudo in his visions, after he had donned the Demon Mask, he is seen standing among a larger group of demons such as Naza, Ijam, Kagol and Sirene.

- Monan made a cameo in the 'Mazinger Z' manga by Gosaku Ota, during a chapter that adapted the short crossover film 'Mazinger Z vs Devilman', released in 1973. Monan appears during a speech given by Dr. Hell to his underling Baron Ashura. Other demons seen included Kaim, Kagol, Vervalka, Ijam, Xeed, Bllan, Zoumue and a Ghelmer/Geruge hybrid.
