Uriel was a powerful god and the seeming leader of the Apostles, however he was better known as Dr. Kosuke Utsugi the head of the local hospital and father to Ryo and Kaori Utsugi. He is the secondary antagonist of the manga 'Demon Lord Dante'.
Appearance
Uriel took the appearance of a middle aged man, albeit one with a large and intimidating stature. He had messy hair and a scraggly beard, thick dark eyebrows and a flat bridged nose.
Personality
As Dr. Utsugi, he was a loving man who cared deeply for his family, even when unable to spend much time at home with them.
As Uriel, they had spent their life carrying out a ethnic genocide against the demon race, killing hundreds of thousands in his way. Together with the other Apostles, Uriel had controlled the world's governments from the shadows.
Abilities
Uriel had grand psychic abilities, the depths of which are never revealed.
History
Uriel was a member of the Apostles, an elite that ran the world from the shadows. He blended in among humanity, under the guise of Dr. Kousuke Utsugi, a hospital director in Japan, with his wife, Tamiko and two children Ryo and Kaori.
When the Satanist group led by Beelzebub began to make their move, by kidnapping the Christian girl Akane Nanjo, for a Black Mass, Uriel and the other apostles were almost immediately informed by their aide. The talked amongst themselves, trying to figure out which of the great Demon Lords they hoped to resurrect, suggesting the likes of Beelzebub, Astaroth, Satan, Lucifer, before Uriel realised their true goal was to resurrect the greatest of the Demon Lord's, Dante. Uriel orders the aide to gather as many of their soldiers as possible, to locate and sabotage the Black Mass. Having summoned the Warriors of God to attention, he warns them of the upcoming threat of Dante's resurrection, and sends them to try and put a stop to the Demon Lord's return before it was too late.
